When we make decisions that are in conflict with our beliefs, we invite stress and anxiety into our lives. We tend to say yes too often because decisions not guided by our core values are harder and more confusing to make. We lose sight of our purpose. Ignoring our morals can cause fractured relationships, guilt, shame, frustration, and ultimately, loneliness. In just a short time, we can become depleted.
On the other hand, when we make decisions that honor and support what we value, we maximize life satisfaction and fulfillment. Living in alignment with what we believe brings more stability, helps us make clear decisions, and teaches us that we can trust ourselves. We’re able to be authentic and that leads to greater self-respect, and healthier, happier relationships.
If you're out of alignment, take some time to create value-based goals. If you’re not sure what your values are yet, that’s a great place to start on your way to finding more balance and peace in life. It's how we're made. #leadership #growth #valuebaseddecisions #alignment #coach #leadclearly
